FACULTY
Michael D’Alto had a successful thirty year career as a nightclub and cabaret performer in Southern California and Las Vegas; studied with the great musician, Sal Aglora, in Los Angeles, CA for four years; further trained under renowned teachers Peggy Flannery, Gene Merlino, and Wayland Pickard, as well as with the Los Angeles Civic Light Opera. Michael has also worked as an arranger, songwriter, musical director and talent agent.
Jennifer D’Alto began theatrical studies in 1980, including training under renowned teacher Peggy Flannery where she met husband Michael and together they formed their first nightclub act. They went on to perform together for 18 years in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Jennifer has also studied with Gene Merlino, Wayland Pickard, and the Los Angeles Civic Light Opera. She worked as a talent agent for JAM Talent in Orange County, California, and with husband Michael has written dozens of songs and two musicals. They still perform professionally in the Tri-State area.
Amy D’Alto has studied dance for 12 years and, with her parents Jennifer and Michael, has taught musical theater performance skills to tri-state youth ages 5 to 13. Amy has appeared in EVSC’s “Annie Get Your Gun”, Signature School’s “Babes in Arms”, “The Good Doctor”, “Seussical”, “Musical of Musicals”, “Anything Goes”, and “Off Broadway On Lincoln with Nancy Hasty” as well as WPEF’s “Chicago”, “Les Miserables” and “Cats”.
Debbie Dewey has over fourteen years of dance training including classes with Disney performers and still participates in a Master’s Tap Class; choreographed “Roar of the Greasepaint, Smell of the Crowd”, “Music Man” and “Applause” for the ECT. Currently teaches beginner tap to adults and young children.
Steve and Wendy Casey have several years experience in ballroom dancing and have been trained by Arthur Murray Certified instructor, Bobbie Shouse. The Casey’s have been volunteer instructors for Spottsville School and seek to provide their joy and expertise of dance to other youth and adults alike.

2000) Musical Theater “Triple Threat” (2 ½ hour classes for Grades 5-12; 1.5 hours for K-4th grades – Ongoing throughout the year.) Description: This is the “Triple Threat” workshop which combines instruction in Voice, Drama/Acting, & Dance, i.e. the complete musical theater performing package. From shy beginners to seasoned performers, every student will benefit from this confidence building opportunity. Students are grouped by age (Child, Youth, and Teen) and rotate through three classes. Periodic performances in front of RBA audiences will fine tune skills and provide the unparalleled experience of live audience feedback. •NEW TUITION REDUCTION!!! Grades 5 through 12 - 2.5 hours at $75 per month. Grades K-4 - 1.5 hours at $50 per month. - 1st month tuition due at registration and is a non-refundable registration fee (goes toward 1st month tuition.) •Class meets Saturday from 10:00-12:30 PM for Grades 5 through 12; Saturday, 10:00 to 11:30 for Grades K-4 • Students are to be properly attired with dancewear and shoes required for the dance portion of this instruction. The instructor will identify and communicate requirements before classes begin. Dancewear and shoes can be purchased through RBA if desired; however, this is not a requirement. • Tuition includes copies of scripts and/or sheet music as required. • Limit 15 students per each of three age groups. • Location rotates through RBA Dance Studio, Studio 2, and Grand Salon. • Instructor(s): M. 2001) Ballroom Dancing (1 hour class) Description: Learn the Waltz, Fox Trot, Balero, American Tango, Argentina Tango, Cha-Cha, Rumba and Samba. Special needs are also welcome. •Tuition is $62.50 per couple per month or $35 for single student per month - 1st month non-refundable registration fee (goes toward 1st month tuition.) •Classes meet on Thursdays, 4:00 to 5:00 or 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. •If other times are desired or you have a group of your own, please call to inquire or to be placed on a wait list. • Limit 20 students. • Located in RBA Dance Studio. • Instructor(s): Steve & Wendy Casey

2003) Dance – (1 hour classes– Ongoing throughout the year.)
Descriptions: Intro to Ballet, Jazz & Hip Hop classes employ classical instruction techniques, steps, and movement while developing traditional skills in these refined and fun dances for beginners. A good sampling of each throughout the semester will enable students to find their niche and become more specialized in following semesters. Intro to Ballet, Jazz & Hip Hop - TBD Combined Jazz and Hip Hop classes for beginners and intermediate employ techniques, steps, and movement; ideal for students interested in dance team participation. Jazz & Hip Hop 1 & 2 Saturdays 2-3 PM A. D’Alto Children & Teens Tap classes employ classical instruction on steps and movement while developing traditional skills for beginners and intermediate students Tap 1/2 - Saturdays 1-2 PM A. D’Alto Adult Tap classes employ classical instruction on steps and movement while developing traditional skills for beginners and intermediate students -- a fun way to exercise the body and mind.
